TEACHEVIL
Blog interface and design

Teachevil (an anagram of Helvetica) is a blog I began setting up in 2009 that aims to serve as a kind of cross between Design Observer and Motionographer for a younger generation. The design of the site is based around the fact that the currently accepted blog format is both boring and flawed--based predominantly on an outdated system of viewing information in a print-centric manner. The site will first appear in a layout that readers understand and expect from a blog, and as the content and readership grows, alternate views and sorting methods will be added for followers that would prefer a more contemporary and user-friendly viewing method.

Mission Statement:
Teachevil is an initiative born out of a desire to inform, educate, and inspire a new generation of designers. A variety of voices from every level of the industry offer a rich and dynamic collection of articles, essays, and commentary to create an invaluable resource for both established and aspiring designers.

This collaboration between students and their mentors aims to enrich the graphic design community by delivering what’s up-and-coming before it’s dead-and-gone. A little evil goes a long way.
